This is the classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu which has inspired over the years too many travelers to visit Cusco, Inca Temples, Inca Valleys with the aim to finally get to Machu Picchu. This journey will begin outside Cusco city to a point called km82 and the trek will start from there up to the valleys. Names of mountains and places still preserving their original names from Inca times.
This tour is private and need to be booked in advance at least with 6 months ahead.

We’ll meet at 4 p.m. at our hotel in Luzern (Lucerne) for a “Welcome to Switzerland” meeting. Then we’ll take a meandering evening walk through Switzerland’s most charming lakeside town, and get acquainted with one another over dinner together. Sleep in Luzern (2 nights). No bus. Walking: light.
After having an early and succulent breakfast, we will be getting prepared to our second hike which it will take us up to ‘Warmihuañusca’ at 4,200 m.a.s.l. Once we get up to this altitude we will enjoy a panoramic view of the mountains and high snowy peaks surrounding us. We will spent some time at the top to explore and rest before we descend to our next campsite at ‘Pacaymayu’. Once we get here, we will have our dinner and stay overnight.
Finished our early breakfast and get prepared, we will begin ascending towards ‘Runcuracay’, an archaeological site at 3,700 m.a.s.l. The best to come is when we get also to ‘Sayacmarka’, another Inca Temple area, where we will take a lunch and also to ‘Puyupatamarca’, an impressive Inca City.
Your fitness will get it’s endurance when we reach ‘Wiñaywayn’ a at 2,690 m.a.s.l to pass the night and eat too.
Finished our breakfast, we will get hiking until we reach Inti-Punku or the Sun Gate, the entrance to the wonderful Machu Picchu citadel. Once we get to this Inca temple a guide will be ready waiting for us to give us a tour of this impressive site. At the end of our tour, there will a bus which take us down to the small town of Aguas Calientes.
There is an option to have our lunch in Aguas calientes which is (not included on the price), afterwards we will take the train back to Cusco and transfer you to your hotel.
